Gabriel Souza

Gabriel Souza is the Vice Governor of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Citizenship from Unicuritiba and a specialization in Public Management from UCDB. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Ulbra and has completed executive training at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (USA), Insper (São Paulo), Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (Rio de Janeiro), and the Latin American Development Bank. 

With more than 20 years of public service, Gabriel has served two terms as State Deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul, where he held several leadership positions, including Speaker of the House, Government Leader, and Leader of the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB) caucus. His political and administrative experience is directly connected to crisis management, innovation in public administration, and legislative governance.
