Irina Strajescu

Irina Strajescu is the Executive Director of the Moldcell Foundation and Director of the People and Communication Department at Moldcell in Moldova. With over 25 years in telecommunications, she possesses extensive local and international experience in project management, quality management, business development, regulation, marketing and communication, and human resources. From 2016 to 2019, Irina led the Association of ICT Companies and remains an active member of associations such as Moldovan Association of ICT Companies (ATIC), European Business Association Moldova (EBA), and American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova. At Moldcell, she has successfully implemented impactful social projects, including #InternetWithoutWorries, a national educational program on online safety, and “Digital Skills Connect Generations” program, promoting digital inclusion of older persons through intergenerational dialogue. Irina holds an MBA from the University of Newport, USA, a bachelor’s degree in engineering and programming from the Technical University of Moldova, and a clinical psychology degree from the Free University of Moldova.
